Owner, Matt True grew up in a rural area and got his start working with trees as a land manager on hunting properties. After years of property management, gaining certifications in chainsaw safety courses and years of experience working in the tree removal / trimming business (Asplundh), in 2018, Two Guys & A Chainsaw was established.
What started out as a part time hobby has evolved into his passion and career. Matt is your tree removal expert!

Matt and his family were staying up at our lake home and during a bad storm the night before, one of our old trees fell down into the yard and lake. Matt said “I have my chainsaw in my truck, want me to cut it down” and that’s exactly what he did. Chopped down our tree (on his vacation, I might add) chopped it up and stacked it neatly in our yard for firewood.

Two Guys & A Chainsaw was working two doors down from my house and I walked over and asked to see if they would provide a quote on removing a maple tree that was in really rough shape. I had the tree bid twice the year before by other companies and just never felt great about it. As time went on the tree had more and more limbs dying.
The price they quoted me was $350 less than my lowest quote and I agreed to have them do the job. They climbed the tree with all their climbing gear and used ropes to lower down large portions of the tree. The whole job was finished in one day and I could not have been more impressed with the job they did.
I would highly recommend Two Guys & A Chainsaw to anyone.

We had three large ash trees that died as a result of ash borer. One of those trees was quite close to the house. We contracted with Two Guys & A Chainsaw to remove the dead trees.
